Managing Director

Anthony has over 26 years experience in the construction industry. He founded 21st Century Building Services Ltd in May 2001. Anthony began his career working for Actgale Ltd in 1984, here he found his passion for the construction industry gaining extensive experience in general construction works, civil engineering, period renovations and design & build housing development.

In 1991 Anthony began to train as an electrician spending the subsequent 9 years working within the commercial electrical contracting sector at Hodson Electrical Ltd and Hector Tanner & Co Ltd. He spent the latter 4 years as a commercial contracts manager at Hodson Electrical driving the business through a period of strong growth.

Malta born Anthony is married with two children. He is a keen cyclist and for all his sins is a passionate football supporter following Chelsea FC.

Senior Electrical Contracts Manager and Estimator

Andrew has over 38 years experience working within the commercial electrical contracting sector. Andrew’s career began at W J Blackmore Ltd, Bath in 1973. He was fast tracked to contracts manager and estimator and was later appointed managing director. His specialist expertise being in the refurbishment of historic buildings, having worked closely with the National Trust on the regions many properties over the years.

In 2001 Andrew joined Hodson Electrical before moving on in 2003 to join 21cbs. Andrew’s experience is unsurpassed with a client and completed project list to match, from building contractors and electrical engineering consultancies to local authorities, healthcare trusts, food manufactures, retail banks and even a football club. Andrew is the owner of a 1956 Triumph TR3 and Group Leader of the Brunel TR’s, the local Group of the TR Register, the largest single make car club in the country. A lover of fine wine, fan of many genres of music and a lifelong supporter of Bristol City FC.

Business Development Manager

Carl joined 21cbs in 2009 after graduating from the Univesrsity of the West of England gaining first class honours in Property Management and Investment. Carl has a wide range of commercial experience gaining internships in general practice surveying, property fund management and investment banking while at University. Carl’s role is to develop new business relationships while assisting in contract management and estimating.

Health and Safety Coordinator

Claire joined us in summer 2007 as office manager. Claire looks after our office administration team and in February 2010 took on additional responsibilities expanding the scope of her role to Health and Safety coordinator following completing her NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Claire also leads our environmental committee following completing her Certificate in Developing Enviromental Awareness. Prior to joining 21CBS Claire worked as a retail manager for Weston Hospice Care and previous to this spent 15 years working as Group Sales Manager for the Bristol Hippodrome.

Electrical Estimator and Contracts Manager

Ashley joined 21CBS as an approved electrician in 2006 following spending 13 years on site experience. In 2009 Ashley was promoted to his current position estimating and managing day to day small contract and call out works along with a major long term contract with Bath and North East Somerset Primary Care Trust.

Ashley is a family man, married with two children. He follows football, rugby and cricket and enjoys camping and cycling.

Building Estimator and Contracts Manager

Mike joined 21CBS in January 2011 bringing with him over 25 years construction industry experience. Mike has worked for some of the countries leading construction companies including ROK, Mitie and Midas Construction.

Mike has a wealth of experience in tendering for and managing contract works up to £500,000 including commercial office and warehouse refurbishments, insurance works, the social and private housing, healthcare and education sectors.

Mike is married with two children and is a fan of fishing, magic and music.
