Unit 8 Monarch Court

We were instructed by Jones Lang LaSalle, following a competitive tender process, to carry out the refurbishment of 8 Monarch Court. The 6-week project started in July 2014 under a JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2011. Works included a full scaffold to enable roof repairs; overhaul of gutters; cleaning of sofits and fascia; Marrs colour revival polishing of powder coated window frames; refurbishment of bike shelter; general paver replacements; cleaning and landscaping; strip out of departed tenants fit out including glazed and stud partitions; server room and kitchenettes; Strip out of all lighting, data cabling, ceiling tiles and floor coverings; strip out of hot and cold, wastes and AC units where they were no longer required; overhaul and repair of existing duct work and VES system; light refurbishment to existing WC’s including making good minor damage, redecoration and cleaning; regularisation of floor box layout and fire alarm including general repairs; suspended ceiling grid repairs and replacement of all tiles, decorations and floor coverings throughout. The specified works were successfully completed within the 6-week programme and the final account figure was in excess of £190,000 plus VAT.
