The project involved the Cat A and Cat B fit-out of a new mezzanine office within a live manufacturing environment.
A key challenge was minimising disruption to the client’s production lines while maintaining health and safety as a top priority.
Extensive planning and collaboration through liaising with the client team were essential to ensure the seamless relocation of live production lines to allow works to progress without interrupting manufacturing operations.
Our approach emphasised meticulous planning and phased delivery to align with the client’s operational needs. The site and client teams worked in close collaboration, maintaining clear communication throughout the programme to ensure minimal disruption and the safe execution of all works.
We installed a 10,000 sq.ft mezzanine floor and completed a high-specification office fit-out, including:
Partitions
Decorations
Exposed services
LED lighting
The design incorporated energy-efficient heating and cooling systems alongside bespoke elements such as a branded interior, breakout areas, W.C.s, and an entrance fit-out. Exposed mechanical & electrical (M&E) installations added to the highly styled finish, meeting both functional and aesthetic requirements.
Each phase was carefully coordinated to ensure continuous production, with health and safety at the forefront of every decision.
Through successful liaising with the client team and working around their manufacturing schedule, the project was completed on time in August 2021. We successfully delivered a modern, branded office space that aligns with Adey Innovation Ltd’s operational and aesthetic requirements.
The seamless integration of the fit-out within the live manufacturing environment ensured that production lines were unaffected throughout the works.
Energy-efficient installations, including LED lighting and advanced heating and cooling systems, contributed to a sustainable and environmentally responsible fit-out, supporting the client’s operational efficiency.
