Following a competitive tender process directly with University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, we were awarded the refurbishment contract for the hospital's two ground-floor reception and waiting areas.
We worked closely with the hospital to phase our works to ensure the area was operational throughout while we were on site.
Extensive hoarding off and signage formed smaller phased work areas with regular movements ensured work progressed as per programme while maintaining a safe area of work and ensuring the safety of the hospital's staff, patients and visitors.
We were proactive in working closely with our client throughout the project to overcome design issues that came about as the build progressed.
Works included stripping out of the previous fit-out, formation of a new triage room, mechanical and electrical alterations including new lighting scheme, new suspended ceilings, full redecoration, floor coverings, Gradus wall protection and grab rails, specialist joinery fire-rated oak glazed partition and IPS panels.
We worked closely with the hospitals chosen IT, furniture and reception desk suppliers to ensure the project was delivered successfully.
