Following extensive flood damage, Broadway House required a targeted refurbishment of its two-storey office block.
The project involved the removal of damaged components and finishes, the introduction of new lighting, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and structural upgrades—all within a tight 12-week programme as the company needed to get back into their office.
The need to temporarily remove the existing kitchen to install the new suspended flooring, followed by its careful reinstatement, added complexity to the schedule.
Our team adopted a methodical and collaborative approach, ensuring the seamless integration of new systems while maintaining the quality of the reinstated kitchen components. Close communication with the client and stakeholders allowed us to address challenges promptly and ensure efficient progress within the fixed timeframe.
The works included:
Demolition and removal of flood-damaged finishes and components
Installation of a new suspended flooring system
Creation of modern office spaces with lightweight partitioning and glazing systems
Complete re-wiring and installation of a new lighting system
WC upgrades, including new Doc M provisions to align with building regulations
Removal and reinstatement of existing kitchens to facilitate flooring installation
Installation of a new air conditioning system and an overhaul of the existing ventilation system
Installation of a new incoming power supply to meet electrical demand
Roof repairs, new floor finishes, and redecorations throughout
The project was delivered on time in September 2023, providing a modern, functional workspace that meets the client’s requirements and standards. The refurbished office spaces now support the operational needs of Comply 365, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
