This project required the complete strip-out and clearance of an industrial unit previously converted into an office facility.
The scope included the decommissioning and removal of tenant fixtures, fittings, chattels, and a complete office fit out.
The task involved reinstating the building to its original landlord specification, repairing damaged cladding, and managing the logistical challenges of deconstructing a highly fitted-out space within a tight 15-week timeframe.
Our team prioritised careful planning and clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure the project progressed smoothly and safely.
A phased approach was adopted to manage the decommissioning, strip-out, and refurbishment efficiently while meeting the programme deadline.
The works involved removing partitions, walls, and a mezzanine floor, including the careful decommissioning of mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems and computer hardware.
Repairs were carried out on damaged cladding, and new loading doors were installed to improve the buildings logistical functionality.
The reinstatement works included refurbishing the ancillary office, welfare, and W.C. block with new alterations and updated M&E systems.
New LED lighting was installed throughout the building, alongside cut-edge corrosion treatment and a roof respray, ensuring the unit was returned to its original condition with significant upgrades to its functionality and aesthetics.
The project was completed on time and within budget in June 2024. The unit was successfully reinstated to its original landlord condition, with modernised finishes and improved facilities, providing a refreshed and functional industrial space for future use.
